AURORA
ALTERNATIVES 2
Amongst the Hunter Pacific product range, Aurora Alternatives 2 is
designed with the largest range of motor colours, blade styles and
blade colours. Aurora Alternatives 2 is a four bladed ceiling fan,
which has its own accessory light kit which can be easily clipped on.
It also shares all other accessory light kits available in our
accessory lights list with the exception of the Icon and Concept 2
lights. Customers are encouraged to use these varied styles and colours
of motor units, blades and lights to make their own unique ceiling fan
to suit their home.
Installing
Location
Aurora Alternatives 2 ceiling fans are recommended
for indoor use only.
Motor
Housing
The Aurora Alternatives 2 motor is made from pressed steel. This allows
a superb quality finish at a reasonable cost. The motors are available
in a variety of colours to suit nearly every decorating need. Please

Motor
The Aurora Alternatives 2 ceiling fan has a
16 pole, 153mm x 18mm motor. All Hunter Pacific
fan motors use vacuum impregnated high-grade
copper windings, silicon-steel stators and sealed
bearings for long life and quiet operation.
The wall controller in conjunction with the
stator windings ensures optimum speeds for all
conditions. With minimal motor movement and
a cool operational temperature, this powerful
motor is guaranteed lasting operation.
Blade Material
The Aurora Alternatives 2 has 1320mm (52") wooden blades made from New
Zealand plywood and 1020mm (40") and 1220mm (48") blades made from MDF.
The blades have two types of finishes. The flat colours are painted and
then lacquered to ensure longevity. The blades with a wood grain finish
are laminated and then lacquered to ensure there is no peeling of the
laminate from the plywood.
The
Aurora Alternatives 2 ceiling fan is available in three sizes of 1020mm
(40"), 1220mm (48") and 1320mm (52"). This allows the Aurora
Alternatives 2 ceiling fan to be used in many different room sizes.

The blade pitch is 12 degrees allowing the fan to produce greater air
flow.
