CONCEPT
2
The Concept 2 is a 1320mm (52") ceiling fan, similar to the original
Concept with the exception of the conical canopy cover, the screw cover
plate and its flatter motor housing, which were all added to modernise
it to suit current architectural trends. The blades attach directly to
the motor housing eliminating the need for an external blade carrier.
The Concept 2 also has an integrated clip-on light system which is
available as an accessory. This allows users the flexibility of adding
a light to the fan at a later time.
Installing
Location
Outdoor and Indoor
Concept 2 ceiling fans can be installed in a variety of locations both
inside the home as well as in out door areas provided that the roof is
sealed and there is no opportunity for water to encroach on the motor.
Both timber and plastic blades are fine for outdoor installations
however we do recommend plastic blades over timber blades as they will
withstand outdoor conditions better.
Please note if timber bladed fans are installed in outdoor locations
the blades may needed to be replaced more regularly as the blades may
warp to exposure to higher levels of moisture in the air.
Motor
Housing
The Concept 2 motor housing is made from die cast aluminium thus
joining within the material is eliminated. This significantly extends
the longevity of the product, as the opportunity for rust and material
degradation is almost completely removed.
Concept
2 ceiling fans are available in a range of finishes including white,
white birch, black, brushed aluminium and polished aluminium.
Motor
The Concept 2 ceiling fan has a 16 pole, 153mm
x 18mm motor. All Hunter Pacific fan motors
use vacuum impregnated high-grade copper windings,
silicon-steel stators and sealed bearings for
long life and quiet operation. The wall controller
in conjunction with the stator windings ensures
optimum speeds for all conditions. With minimal
motor movement and a cool operational temperature
this powerful motor is guaranteed lasting operation.
Blade
Material
Concept 2 is a 4 bladed, 1320mm (52") ceiling fan. The blades are made
from New Zealand plywood and are placed into sets based on accurate
weight measurements removing almost all unwanted movement during fan
operation. Blades are painted with finishes that match the motor
housing colours and the paint also acts as an additional layer of
protection on the wooden blades.

The Concept 2 fan is available with 1320mm (52") moulded blades, these
blades also match the colour of the motor housing. There is also the
option of using clear moulded blades which allows for the functionality
of a ceiling fan with minimal visual obstruction to the room.

The blade pitch is 12 degrees allowing the fan to produce greater air
flow.
