Installing Location
Typhoon Forty-Eight ceiling fans are recommended for indoor installations only.

Motor Housing
The Typhoon Forty-Eight motor housing is identical to the Typhoon Metal’s motor housing it is also made from pressed steel and is available in white and white birch.

Motor
The Typhoon Forty-Eight has a 16 pole, 172mm x 12mm motor. All Hunter Pacific fan motors use vacuum impregnated high-grade copper windings, silicon-steel stators and sealed bearings for long life and quiet operation. The wall controller in conjunction with the stator windings ensures optimum speeds for all conditions. With minimal motor movement and a cool operational temperature, this powerful motor is guaranteed lasting operation.

Blade Material
The Typhoon Forty-Eight fan blades are made from MDF and they are then painted and then lacquered to ensure longevity.

Blade Pitch
The blade pitch is 12 degrees allowing the fan to produce greater air flow.
